Today we are going to look at another Rom Hacked game, this time we will be looking at Super Metroid Vitality. It has been a very long time since I have played the original Super Metroid, I hope I can get into this game and enjoy it as much as the original game. What will be awaiting you in this Rom hacked game?
What did I think before playing Super Metroid Vitality?
Super Metroid Vitality is a supposed to be a darker and grittier version of Super Metroid. You will control Samus as you go through a new world, but I am more interested in what kinds of areas there will be to explore. How hard will it be to get through this new world? There is not much text to explain what this game is about, but it seems we will need to explore a new planet where strange things are happening. What for strange things could be going on? I wonder what kind of gameplay this game has.

This game seems like another fun Metroid game.
Story
The story starts with a Samus on her ship, wanting to stretch her legs on the planet of Auriga, what could possibly go wrong, right?

I enjoyed the story, I will not spoil too much, but if you like darker, then you will like the story.
Gameplay
You will have to do a lot of exploring in Super Metroid, especially since you will not have any experience with where to go. This is something I bumped into on my first time playing this game and I recorded that. The hardest part is to get used to the controls of the emulator, and the jumping in this game.
As you make your way through this Rom hack that creates a whole new world for you to explore, you will find better weapons and skills, to explore even more of this new world. However, you should beware of the monsters that are lurking everywhere.
As you make your way through this game, which is pretty long, actually. You will encounter many bosses who want to murder you. The best thing to do, here, is to kill them before they kill you. However, most of the bosses hare quite hard to beat. It is time to learn their patterns.

Sound and Graphics
Graphics
The graphics are spectacular, I wonder how someone actually managed to do this. This had to take up a lot of time.
Sound
There is nothing wrong with the soundtrack and sound effects, it is just as if you are playing an official Super Metroid!

What did I think after playing Super Metroid Vitality?
I had a lot of fun when playing this game, but it was just not my style, I think I enjoy Metroid on the Game Boy Advance more; however, the mechanics are solid. If you want to enjoy an old school Super Metroid, then this is the Rom Hack to choose, there is nothing wrong with this game.
The beginning of this game is hard, since you have no clue what to do, or how to progress, I am less familiar with the tricks that you can perform in this game, compared to other Metroid games. There is only one way, I have to look up some information online or keep trying, I am probably missing something silly and small.

- Jump like you are on the moon!

- This game can get you lost, most likely in the beginning

Nice, another Motroid hack. Maybe I should get into Mentroid, my husbands loves them. I’m not very good with these games though… XD But they do look interesting.
