Doom top 5 list

Doom top 5 list

Introduction

Today, we have a new list prepared for you, a list of Doom games, but what Doom will triumph in this list of the five best Doom games on Reviews by Supersven? We have Doom mods, Doom mobile games, the original Doom games. But there is only one that can excel. We all know it will not be Doom 3 as it is actually missing Demons! Those are just, pesky aliens. Now, without further ado, let us go over the rules!

Rules

1 All candidates must be on Reviews by Supersven.
2 Perfect games are disqualified as well; otherwise, these would automatically take up spots.
3 Dead or offline games are disqualified.
4 Modded and fan games are allowed.

5: Brutal Doom

Now, why is this game on number five? There are multiple reasons for that, While I love the new additions this mod adds. For example, more blood and gore, along with new weapons. It just does look polished enough. However, compared to other Doom games on Reviews by Supersven, it does look good!

There are a lot of fun gameplay mechanics in Brutal Doom. For example, the jumping mechanic, but it does feel a bit off at times. The difficulty is also much lower than I had expected, but if you are looking for something casual, then Brutal Doom has some easy demon kills for you!

4: Doom 64

Why does Doom 64 get this spot? It also has a four in it, but that is just a coincidence. There are a few things I disliked about this game, while also loving it. For example, the complex maps that will make sure you get lost in many of these levels. You cannot move the cursor up and down, but that is not a huge problem.

However, there are many demons to be slain, and a considerable variety of them. What I also loved about this game is the chainsaw works superb. It just shreds those demons to pieces!

3: Doom 1

This game is the one that started it all, Doom 1, back when we loved floppy disks, and I swear, if any kids ask me what the hell is a floppy disk, or, that is just the save button. Then I am going to rage, I am not that old, okay, perhaps, I am. However, slaying demons is something I already did when I was much younger.

The gameplay is much faster compared to other games from this era. And of course, the gore for that time was wonderful. My favorite weapon is the shotgun, it just, goes boom and it is, bye bye demon!

2: Doom 2

Doom 2 improves upon a lot that Doom 1 does perfectly. I love the energetic soundtracks in Doom 2. There are many more levels to explore, and of course, many more enemies to slaughter. Bigger and badder enemies will await you in secret holes in the wall and try to ambush you! Can you survive?

Of course, you can because you are the Doom guy! There is nothing that will stop you from rampaging through these demon infested halls with your new super shotgun that blasts through them like they are butter.

1: Atomic Doom

For the first spot, we have a true winner, a mod that keeps the workings of Doom intact while adding and improving it. Extreme amounts of gore will be showered upon you! There are new weapons, new enemies, and one of my favorite tools, grenades.

Not only does this mod add a lot to the original game, it also increased the difficulty. This game will make it feel as if you’re playing Doom for the first time again. The jumping works perfectly in this game. All the graphics are well polished.

Last Words

I hope you like this list of Doom games that we enjoyed playing and writing about, they all deserve a spot on this list.

  2. Haven't heard about Atomic Doom prior to this but it is an interesting mod. Looks well polished and animations are smoother than the usual remasters of the doom-like games like shadow warrior classic.
