Introduction
Today we are going to click a Lhama. Since that is not how you write Lhama, I will just spell it the usual way, Lama. Despite that this early access game is called Lhama Clicker. This is only a short game and it features clicking elements. There is no real story yet, thus I will not add a story section in this review.
What did I think before playing Lhama Clicker?
I had no idea what to expect from this early access game, it got recommended by Steam since I have been busy with some clickers lately, like Kiwi Clicker! In this game, it seems you will need to click on a lama, what could possibly go wrong? I decided to check the Steam page for more information on what to expect from this strange game.

The Steam page is very, disappointing even if it for an early access game, or as they call it, a prologue. I can only be very simple about this, there are hats, upgrades and some other upgrades. Since there is not much more to go on, it is time to play this game.

My impression is that this game barely has meat on its bones, there is only one way to find out!
Gameplay
The game starts very simple, you need to click the Lama to get more Lamas, you cannot see them, or you would need an enormous screen. All that happens when you click the lama is that the number goes up. If you click rapidly, you get a bonus, this allows you to get more lamas, and eventually, it will even level up.
When your lama levels up, you will get three choices to upgrade your lama. If these are not to your liking, you can reroll and hope for better results. If you are looking to gain more benefits, you should go for the ascension bonus. But before you ascend, you should upgrade your buildings. These allow you to get more lamas per click, or even lamas per second.
Once you click enough, you will unlock new hats or skins for your lama. Now, onto ascension, this will multiply your lama gains by a lot, however the way you gain ascension points is kind of fucked up. Occasionally, a golden lama pops up on the screen, you need to click it for ascension points.
You can keep ascending, but there is not much more to the game, it is boring, simple, but at least it is an easy platinum for your Steam achievements. I hope the final release of this game has a lot more to offer. Otherwise, it will get stale very quickly.

I rated the gameplay of Lama Clicker with a 5.9
There is not much to do in this game, the hardest achievement is reaching level 10, which is really hard.
Sound and Graphics
Graphics
The graphics are below mediocre, nothing happens when you buy upgrades, nothing changes at all. It is just a static screen. Not even the ascension changes something, I really hope that the full release will change this.
Sound
The soundtrack, of which there is one. Along with the sound effects are not good, and you keep hearing it over and over again, which is also annoying.

I rated the sound and graphics of Lama Clicker with a 3.7
There has to be a lot of improvement with the full release.
What did I think after playing Lama Clicker?
I cannot talk much about this game, as there is not much gameplay or game mechanics to talk about. In the video below, I attempted the hardest challenge, keeping my sanity while reaching level 10. Everywhere I look, there are now lamas, there are so many of them!

This game made me literally want to smash my head against a table or a wall. Enough said.

- You get offline rewards based on your current lama per second rating
- At least the skins are cool, it has the chainsaw dog!
Cons
- There is no story in this game
- The soundtracks and graphics are horrible
- There are not many gameplay mechanics
- Nothing ever changes when you buy upgrades
- Ascension points are random and based on your reflex
- Lama's will rule the world
If you ever wondered about a good clicker, or if such a game even exists, it does, but it’s not this game.

I even completed all achievements in this game. I am glad I can warn other people about bad games.
I think this game needs far more content to even be called a demo, let alone a prologue, so I do hope the main game has at least 100x the content this „game“ does.
